Thinking Question 5
When the Richmond Oilers lost to St. Francis they had a hard time realizing that they were so close to being the champions. But when they went into the locker room, they came to realize that just because they didn't win the game, doesn't mean that lost everything. Have you ever had one of those moments and if so, explain.

Yes i have had one of them moments. It was when my grandpa died. He was the greatest man. He lived on a farm and he would do anything and everything with me. He would always want me to go out to the farm and help him with chores and feed the cattle. He would always go four-wheeling with me, we would always walk the pasters. I miss and love him!! <3
ReplyDeleteI think these moments are the ones that define us even more than winning. Its a point when all you wanted is to win and you lose so you have to find comfort in something else. There was a time when I lost a friend because of a fight and it was very hard on me but my sister encouraged me and told me to just move on because I had other good friends as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I've ever had a moment like that. When I lose I feel like it's the end of the world. After a couple days I get over it, but I've never felt like that right after a game. Most of the time I don't think coaches want to see players even a little happy after losing.
